The Crévoux ski area: skiing for all the family

A family resort par excellence, the slopes wind through larch forests for unforgettable outings. With a snow front dedicated to beginners and the very young, learning to ski is stress-free, while parents relax on the deckchairs on the terraces.
Good skiers will not be outdone and will appreciate the many fun runs with their own character, spread over 1000m of vertical drop and exceptional natural snow.

Crévoux offers all the pleasures of alpine skiing and snowboarding on its alpine domain:

5 ski lifts and 16 runs for all levels spread over 22 km between 1600m and 2550m altitude
1 snow garden at the foot of the slopes run by the ESF, with a snow line for the little ones to discover the joys of snow sports
1 beginners' area on the snow front served by a ski lift with a special rate
1 secure tobogganing area at the foot of the slopes
1 snowpark: Ratel Park, a fun and technical snowpark on the snow front

Freeride, welcome to a natural ski paradise

A north-facing slope with a vertical drop of 1,000 m and "only" 22 km of pistes. For freeriders in search of powder and wide-open spaces, these figures reflect the exceptional potential of the Crévoux off-piste area. The Pré de l'Étoile ski lift lets you take advantage of the immense high-altitude valleys with their modest slopes. It's the ideal spot for a beginner's introduction to powder skiing.

But Crévoux is best known for its forest freeride. Crévoux's larch trees are ideally spaced for long, wild descents all the way to the foot of the resort. Take your pick: on the west side of the ski area, near the black run, you'll find steeper slopes but tighter trees, while on the east side, the forest is more open and the slopes more affordable.

Le Ratel Park

Located at the foot of the pistes, alongside the Pravesqua ski lift, Ratel Park offers a range of modules, rails and moguls, for all levels. The numerous rails are close to the ground, making them accessible to beginners, but sufficiently technical for good riders.
The Park evolves throughout the winter, depending on snow conditions and the shaper's inspiration.

Ski de Rando: La Trace de l'Etoile

Discover La Trace de l'Etoile, Crévoux's new ski touring trail. From the snow front, the itinerary reaches the Ratelle ridge without ever crossing the ski slopes, over a vertical drop of almost 1000m!

Skiers can therefore reach the top of the ski area without crossing the downhill slopes, and return down the groomed, safe ski runs. After a magnificent stroll in the forest under the famous larch trees of the Southern Alps, the itinerary offers an escape route after 600m of ascent, at the start of the Pré de l'Etoile ski lift, making the ascent much more affordable for beginners.

DVA park and DVA checkpoint: be autonomous and responsible

Freeriding is practiced in unmarked, unsafe areas. This discipline requires you to be equipped with the gear you need to ensure your own safety: an avalanche beacon as close to your body as possible, a probe and a shovel in your rucksack are an inseparable part of your equipment. Knowing how to use this equipment is essential, which is why we offer a free DVA training area. Located at the start of the Pré de l'Etoile ski lift, the DVA park is made up of transmitter beacons you can find using your DVA. Get close to the lift operator to activate the beacons.

At the arrival point of the Pic de Ratel ski lift, there is a checkpoint to ensure that your avalanche transceiver is working properly. This device is also available at the entrance to the La Chalp Nordic ski area for ski tourers and glaciers.
