Description
The office's guides and mountain leaders can share their passion for the mountains through a wide range of activities in both summer and winter
Canyoning, via ferrata, climbing, mountaineering, hiking...
Canyoning-
Descending rivers with jumps, slides, swimming and abseiling down waterfalls. From discovery canyoning for the whole family (children aged 8 and over /1m40) to very sporty and challenging canyoning
Via Ferrata-
Via Ferrata is an activity that allows you to work in a vertical environment. Halfway between hiking and climbing, you'll follow a cabled route through a rock face, with metal steps to ease your progress, but you may also come across monkey bridges, Nepalese bridges or zip lines.
This sensational activity allows you to progress vertically without great difficulty.
Climbing -
From beginners to advanced, the Hautes-Alpes department offers several climbing sites. With your guide, you'll discover how to climb in this vertical environment in complete safety. From tying the "nœud de huit" to belaying the climber, from leading to abseiling, your guide will help you to become self-sufficient.
Alpinism- This activity can take many forms: from glacier trekking to the great north faces, via snow and ice corridors, or rock and ridge routes in the open air, the high mountains offer exceptional panoramas. Roped up with your guide, you'll discover glaciers, crevasses and the techniques used to evolve in this environment.
Hiking, trekking -
Hiking is a good way to enjoy the tranquillity of our mountain ranges and to contemplate them. We practise our profession in a friendly atmosphere and with the greatest respect for the environment and the people who live there.
Mountain information office: weather conditions in the mountains, ideas for targeted hikes, refuges, bivouacs...
